I spent last weekend working fevorishly to get ahead of the cold weather and rain that was on the way. A friend of mine gave me the bed strips, so I had to put them to use right away. The bed had previously contained two sheets of rotten plywood with the original rotten bed flooring beneath. I wish I had taken some "before" photo's.

Carrying a grease gun, that's a WORK truck! Good for you! It might look better to countersink the bolts on the wood, but it's a natural catch-basin for rain, etc. If you are going to use it, it's fine the way it is.

Definetly get's used for work!!! I thought about the counter-sinking of the bolts and washers, but I had the carriage bolts and washers in stock and the extra work wouldn't have made the time schedule......Even ran a friend off while I was working. He only wanted to watch and "critique", instead of holding a bolt while I put the nut on from the bottom of the truck. Sorry, didn't have time for that stuff.
Thanks for the compliments!
Is it still snowin' out there Ross?

Before photos aaren't necessarry. They only serve to remind me of what looked like before I tore them down. Good job on the bed,
