Okay I was working on getting some heat into both trucks do to all the moisture we have here now.
I semed to have picked up a lot of water in both trucks. So a heater went into the one without an engine.
The other one I just plugged in the block heater. So for giggles I grabbed my FLIR camera and took this
photo of the bleok heater in action. I took the photo after it had been plugged in for about 30 minutes.
It is 41º out side right now and that engine was stone cold when I started.
That tyellow glow is the heater tube and it was warm to the touch. Also the inside of the cab was feeling a bit warmer than the outside air.
One thing I have done is put some of the desiccant packs in both trucks. The one from the truck that runs needed to be recycled and so I stuck one
the other large packs I have for now.
Anyway I thought you all might find it interesting to see the IR photo. The lower side through the wheel well on the passenger side was also quite hot.
But when that is where the heater lives it's going to warm up fast.
