Hello everyone,
I am looking to upgrade the coil springs on my 1995 F150. I will be using it for plowing snow and want to beef up the front end. It currently has "K" springs in it and they just are not cutting it. I am thinking I might take the springs out of a buddies 89' F350 2wd, but I just wanted to find out what my current springs are. Front GAWR is 2950lbs. Tia for any help.
I would go to RockAuto..... https://www.rockauto.com/ ..... & enter all your details, working through to the suspension page. From there you should be able to determine an upgrade for your truck.
Bear in mind that if you go too heavy, your wheels will get an inward lean at the bottom......& even more so when you remove the snowplow.
Thank you everyone for the replies! It looks like even if my friend has the heaviest of the coil springs it will only lift my truck by about 1"-2", and I would not mind that at all because the western ultra mount for the truck is the same as the F250/350's. Just sits to low to get ground because the f150 has smaller tires and springs than the larger trucks.

That’s odd. The Myers mount is different for a Bronco/ F-150 than it is for a 250/350. Four wheel drive F-250 /350 trucks have leaf springs. Only 2wd trucks had coil springs up front.
Do you have the dual front shocks on each side now? If not, you may want to consider replacing the shock towers with the dual shock models, and putting four heavy duty shocks up front.

A lot of work for something that is not needed. One shock per side can control the springs.
