They say all Ford products 1975 up have this seat belt decal in the window. I have 2 pickups I've owned since new and one other that don't have this sticker. I remember them but I don't remember on what rig or where they were located.
Anyone know if they had them ? and if so where ? I want to say lower rear corner of the passenger window but I'm not sure.
That's what I remember, LMC says only 1 required. but I know I've seen them on both sides I just don't remember what vehicle. LMC also says 73-79 but everything I've read says 75 up.
What I don't get is where did mine go, it's all original glass and I didn't take them off. either they never existed or they fell off. I wouldn't really care but I think it adds a bit of detail that looks good. I may put them on anyway and let someone prove they are not correct.
In all the junk yards and all the 75-79 Ford trucks I have seen, owned, took apart, I have never seen that sticker. I have seen that sticker on newer Ford vehicles. Just saying.
79 to 89 Mustang. Both doors, on the glass, aft part, right in front of the lock button.
On a Bronco II
You can see it on the dvrs side door, corner of the glass, R/H side.
I think you're right. the 2 pickups I've had since new are in too good of condition to not have lost them. however, I received an email back from a Ford NOS parts dealer and he said that sticker ( the small one ) was on all 75-84 Fords as it was a corporate safety program.
I still don't think they were on my pickups, but I'm going to put them on anyway so it will look like everyone else is missing something they should have.
Well there you go being all VC....vehicular correct. Lol JK Just like you to want to stand out in a car show crowd. The judges will be all kinds of mystified. Remember it did not happen without a pic.
I remember those stickers and I've owned Fords with them . I just don't remember which ones.
The only possibility, and it's unlikely, is that they were crumby stickers and they wiped off the window after a while. other than that it would mean they were never there. but I never said that.
And if you say that it means that Ford was failing at its "Corporate Safety Program." Lol Jk X2 I remember riding up on the back window deck of a 71 Galaxy 500 as a kid. For shame for shame.
