Hey Jim, I guess it’s a matter of opinion. I watch ABC news every night and I believe what they tell me for the most part. If they say there’s been a half-million deaths I believe it regardless of how the tally was made. I wear a mask everywhere I go and will get my Covid shot to combat this harmless virus ASAP. I hope everyone else who is concerned that this virus is far from harmless will do the same.
ABC news! Lol 😂 that’s your first mistake. Believing them is your second.
Vern, I appreciate your gentle tone. Thanks for not getting all hostile. My point all along when it comes to Covid, and the response to it, has been that there is a completely alternative set of facts and information available, if you look for it, that the major news sources are simply not reporting. I am just trying to challenge people to look beyond what they have been told and what they think they know.

Always good to know all the information out there on any subject to get a true story of what is going on
I apologize for my terminology in my post, I shouldn't have typed "harmless", it is not a harmless virus but the hype around it has been overblown for reasons I won't go into here.
Not off topic at all Wayne, good stuff. At the 7:05 mark they crashed a yellow 4-dr sedan, the car completely collapsed...would not want to have been in that vehicle. My buddy has a nice 55 F100 and after watching one of these videos he started to rethink driving his truck on the freeways. There wasn't much he could do about the vehicle itself but he did install seat belts and he listened to his wife a little more when she nagged about is driving.
A guy on the HAMB who lives somewhere in SoCal got clipped on the rear on the freeway, rolled at least once, then went into the guard rails and a couple other cars. The results aren't pretty but the cab is remarkably intact. As I recall he wasn't badly hurt.

Good point and one I make often when the topic of cab bracing comes up with regard to replacing panels/floor sections. These cabs and especially the cowl sections are extremely rigid...much better suited to a rollover than a front on collision.
I clipped this from the Williamsport, PA newspaper 15-20 years ago. I don't know the owner of the Chevy nor do I know if it got fixed up but that is a risk we take when we drive our classics.
Shortly after I got my 54 fixed up in 1999, I'm driving with my son who was then 7 or 8, I said "my biggest fear is being rear-ended." He said, "I thought your biggest fear was drowning." See he knew I couldn't swim and probably heard me say that once.
By the looks of the windshield on the Chevy I'd guess he wasn't wearing/didn't have a seat belt. The subie folks were treated and released while the truck driver spent a day or two in the hospital with head and chest injuries received from the windshield and steering wheel impact. Probably banged up his knees and legs some, too. Knee injuries from the column drop and cross bolt was very common back then.
I thought about this a few times on my long drives to and from the FTE truck meets going down two lane road out in the country, me doing 50mph, incoming traffic doing 65+ mph.
here in lies the problem with today’s news media, they express opinions, not just report the facts and let you form your own. News media is about ratings, no fact-checking.
This video was produced in Japan over 10 months ago...why hasn't our gov't done the same or at least presented this topic from a scientific perspective? So much confusion when gov't and media have other agendas...
