NP273f and Mercon LV?
I have noticed recently that Mercon LV fluid is recommended now for use in all transfer cases according to the Ford website. It looks like the XL 12 transfer case fluid they used to offer has been discontinued. Can anyone confirm or deny whether Merc LV is recommended for use in our transfer cases?

For anyone reading this in the future, you can sometimes find deals, discounts or coupons for Motorcraft Mercon LV at the parts stores as it is used in a lot of transmissions.
I drain and refill the Mercon LV in our 2016 Escape every third oil change which allows me time to get up to 40% off of the fluid when shopping smart and buying on discount when I can instead of when I need to.
