Has anybody found where the ding ding circuit board is a E 350 cut away as in motorhome, trying to locate so I can cut it out.
Why does it need to be removed? Seems like unplugging, snipping a wire or using FORScan would be easier unless for some reason you need it out of the way to make room for something.
I remember on one of my older trucks (2002) the fix was to take the bottom of the steering column (the plastic) off and with the key in the ignition there was a pin in the casting by the ignition that you pushed in when the key was on I think and you turn the ignition off while holding the pin in and the ignition would come out with the key. You then located the pink wire on the ignition switch and disconnected it, taped it up good and put it back together and problem solved. Don't know what color wire yours might have if this is indeed for your key in the ignition ding ding ding.
If you ever hooked up forscan to a E series you notice no easy method listed and nothing but as built numbers. There is no spreadsheet for as built numbers on E series that I have found. I have set up two F 150s and one F250 with forscan and all works well, wish it was that easy on the E-350 NOT and Im only taking out enough dash to get to that dang dinger. I think it may be on a circuit board.

Then go to the spread sheets in Forscan and try the Super Duty settings. The spread sheets and easy method where built by folks like you that needed something done and documented it. If it works then post it so other people know it works, if it don't then post it so other people know it don't. Good Luck

I agree. I'd try using the spreadsheet for Super Duty or F 150 and see what happens. If it doesn't work, then revert back to the original settings. No harm, no physical damage done. I'd go this way before tearing into anything and removing things that you might regret later. You never know what is connected to what on these things.
