94 AODE erratic downshifts
My 94 F150's AODE has about 65k on it. The fluid and filter were changed at 58K. In the last 2000 miles, on rare occasions driving at 60 mph it would suddenly down shift to 3rd for a second and then return to overdrive. It only happened after driving for a half hour and at highway speed, and then only once. This morning, it started doing it at 40 mph and from 3rd to 2nd, and a lot more frequently. Does this sound like an electronic failure or an internal pressure problem? The speedo doesn't jump around, so I don't think it's the throttle position sensor. TIA.
