I finally got around to replacing my cab mounts. The rubber that I removed was hard as a rock and brittle.
As you can see I have the old and new parts side by side. There were 2 shims under the cab mount retainer. I assume I should put them back where they were?
Also, I found a square metal block under the nut instead of a washer with a square rubber bushing. Do I still use that block with the round bushing or just use the washer that came with the new hardware from Mid-Fifty?
You’ll probably have to shim the mounts once everything is back together. I think the original mounts had the square “washer” but the stuff that comes with the new mount kit works fine as is.
