I got the call the second to last week of January. My reservation was the very first at my dealer. Out of 200 I was #1, kinda cool! I have a very early reservation time stamp of 8:05pm 7/13/20. They have 50 allocations and given my time stamp they expect me to get my Bronco this summer. Personally I'm guessing August if I'm throwing spaghetti at the wall.
I ended up switching from a Wildtrak to a SAS Outerbanks for the darker Roast interior.
I'm pretty dang excited!! This will be my first brand new vehicle.
From the picture, gonna look awesome! That's good that you're getting it relatively early, I saw on Ford's website apparently some people are gonna get them so late that they're gonna receive a '22 instead of a '21, so that's good that you're getting a 21. Let's pray for August, to me it's so late that Ford should just pull the trigger and make it a '22 model, with how late in the year they're coming out. Hope it brings you many smiles every time you get in it
I thought the new Bronco would be starting out at around $29,999.00 and the Ford Maverick (small pick-up) starting out around $19,999.00. I guess I'm wrong

The 2 door base Bronco does start below 30k. With the options I choose I'm knocking on 60k. It's my first brand new vehicle and I'm super excited about it, so it is what it is. I wanted the 35s, lockers, heated steering wheel, leather, 4 door, hardtop, 2.7 v6..ect that all pushed it to basically loaded.
For me this Bronco is going to be my year round Mustang convertible. A fun extra vehicle and I believe it checks all the boxes for me when it comes to fun.

Ok. That's what I did when I ordered my 2011 Mustang v6. Base model was (I think) $21,000. I ordered every option (except the glass roof. Didn't want it) and paid $34.800 for it. You did right. Order everything you want because it's cheaper to order something from the factory than it is to add it on later yourself .......
Thanks, it’s gonna look absolutely badass I think. The wait is the hardest part, but it’s been this long what’s another 6 months (guess on timeline). Getting an actual ETA in May will be a great birthday present.
I’m just excited for a warm sunny day with the roof off! So I just daydream about that those future adventures.
We have movement!! Got the scheduled for production email this AM! God im excited!
GREAT!!!!!! I'm excited, and it's not even my truck! I'm gonna wait until likely early '23 to order, I say that now. I've been thinking the Wild Track, only option is the trailer tow hitch, and 4 door.
Sounds like the perfect vehicle for exploring in AK. Good choice of "first new vehicle." When we were younger, we would have been able to use something like this to the max, but probably could not have afforded it tricked out like yours. Now that we're older and can afford one, we've outgrown the need for one. My wife keeps reminding me of the time we went "Blazing" in our '72 Blazer right after she gave birth to our first (and broke her tailbone in the process). She doesn't speak of it in fond terms, but she was a good sport at the time. Me, I still miss being able to "explore."
I went to a large local Ford dealer last night (after they closed) to see if they were displaying the one big Bronco they are "supposed" to have in stock. No big Bronco to be seen, and their dealer lots are frighteningly empty. Maybe 10 new Bronco Sports out front, but all in the same (Big Bend? not too outdoorsy or loaded) trim level. I bet the big one was home with the general manager or owner...
As for offroading with a wife when young, my daily driver while my wife was pregnant with our son, and for the first couple years of his life, was a 1980 FJ40 Land Crusher. No air conditioning. Manual steering. That is probably the most uncomfortable vehicle I could ever imagine and she didn't spend much time in it--we drove her car everywhere.
Thanks guys! My excitement is building as the build day gets closer.
A number of guys on the Bronco Facebook page and Forum have received their “built” emails with estimated delivery the last week of June, I can’t wait to see the “big” Bronco in private hands.
If mine arrives in September like I expect I’ll be past camping season but I’ll definitely be taking plenty of road trips in it.
Well a mixed bag of Bronco news this week followed by an email from Ford last night that makes me think I'm pretty lucky.
If you're not following this Bronco rollout closely it's been painful and slow for everyone involved. Hard tops are a huge constraint, along with other items.
First retail deliveries happened last week for a handful of lucky owners! I finally called Fords hotline to check on my build. I was told the build DAY is July 21st, this is a week sooner than expected. Last night I got the confirmation email stating the build week is now 7/19.
I'm feeling pretty lucky considering my build has just about every constraint item on it. I'm not counting my chickens before the eggs hatch but I am cautioucautiously optimistic!
