Hope you get it before fall. I read yesterday that most of the hardtop options are pushing those orders back to late '22 now due to supply issues. I think their was only one hardtop option that would still get you in one this year
Correct, the MIC (molded in color) hard top is the only option for now. The modular black, white and body color hard top won't be available until model year '23. They are encouraging people who don't have a scheduled build to switch to a soft top if they want their vehicle any time soon (next 6 months?).
Since I have a VIN and Production date I'm safe, it apparently means they have enough items to build it. The majority of people who reserved and ordered do not have any idea when they will have theirs built.. hence my feeling very lucky. Even more-so since I have all of the other constrained items.

That's good. I just read an article talking about a family that just got their new bronco. It was a four door soft top with the sasquatch package. The dealer they ordered is from was 400 miles away and they were so excited to get it they left home at 3 a.m to pick it up.
He said the 400 mile trip home was great other than all the attention. Had people taking photos and videos most of the way and even had one guy trying to talk to them while driving 65 down the interstate. Said the truck handled great, power was good with the base engine and road sound was more than an f150 but wasn't obnoxious.
I'd really like to get a Black Diamond or Badlands four door with the Sasquatch package and the big morrow but I know I'd miss having an open box.
So MAP that is building the Bronco is pausing production the weeks of July 5th and July 26th due to the hardtop shortage. I some how totally lucked out to be moved forward. I spoke to my dealer today and the newest update has my build day of 7/23/21 and should be good to go at this point. He said my early reservation is what pushed my highly constrained built up to a July build…i think a little luck had to help.
The demo unit form my dealer was produced on 6/7 and expected to arrive late July/Early August as the current guess, so hopefully I’ll get to see, touch and drive a Bronco before mine arrives.
Tomorrow is the big day! My rotation number is relatively low for the day, the plant seems to be about 1/4 of a day behind, with next weeks plant shut down has me a little nervous. Luckily with some insiders on the Bronco forum we’re able to track the weeks builds almost in real time…I won’t be super productive tomorrow haha
Covert in Austin has only rec'd one First Edition so far.
They now have a 4 door Wildtrack soft-top demo for test drives. Just got back from there, I was definitely pleased with its handling on-road despite it being a super short drive. Lots of interest. If you go, Bob Russell is well versed (and salesman for my order).
