So, I just finished up swapping out the transmission in my '97 F150. But, when I went to reattach the shifter cable, with the shifter lever is in park, the cable was in the 1st gear position. If I move the shifter lever into the 1st gear position the shifter cable moves to the park position. Any have any Idea what I've walked into?
Unfortunately I didn't remove the old Transmission by myself. I asked a friend of my brother if he wanted to give me a hand. By the time I was under the truck with him he had a mag-pan full of hardware. I'll be doing anything going forward by myself.
