Plethora or problems

2005 F250 FX4

Driving home from work, one day last week, and everything seems to be running just fine.
A car pulls out up ahead of me and I have to let off the accelerator. When I go to get back to speed, I notice that something felt and sounded different.

There was a deeper tone and a lot less power. I had felt this problem before, or one similar, when my EBP was on the fritz. I had full boost in the higher RPM range but almost no activity in the lower RPM area. Nonetheless, I had to drive it to where I was going. So, I drove carefully to get it home.

When I got home I noticed that I had a little bit of steam coming out from under the hood. I popped the hood and found a very small spot leaking on the top of my radiator. This had not been an issue before the turbo problem.

While I doubt that these two are connected, it just seems too ironic for both issues to occur at the same time.

I have a new radiator coming in tomorrow (all aluminum) - so that should take care of that.

I cleaned the MAP sensor and the tubing that goes to it. After doing so, I am now showing a P2262 code.

Since I know you will ask, here are the vitals KOER:

Here are the vitals KOEO:

I did not have the BARO sensor running - sorry.

Any help or advice?

Ok ill take a stab at this.

First I think you have your pictures labeled reverse.

Now I looks like your EBP sensor is causing issues for you again.. it is reading the same in both KOEO and KOER.

Also, while this may be caused by the EBP sensor your VGT values are way off.

Yeah - I typed the original in from my phone. For some reason, it listed the pictures backwards - sorry for the confusion and I will see if I can fix this.

The EBP is not currently working and wasn't prior to...apparently.

I replaced the EBP and the pigtail back about 8 months ago. After changing, I noticed a severely low on power situation. I cut the purple/white wire and everything worked as it should. I guess I never hooked it back up. I know it was wired correctly as I checked it several times. I guess I forgot to hook it back up.

What could be causing the VGT values to be way off? I wouldn't imagine the EBP would be causing this if the EBP hasn't been functioning for a while now...unless it was just a build up and long standing problem.

Where did you get the EBP sensor from?
Also are you sure on the wiring as pigtails tend to be all black wire.

the sensor is from Amazon. Said it was Motocraft OEM.

as for the wiring, I have quadruple checked this. I even went by wire position vs. wire color

Any part from Ebay or Amazon should always be suspected as a fake.
This is do to the fact that a lot of them are fakes from China.
