Trac bar

Trac bar drop bracket broke in half on my 2007 f350 it has a 12" lift and dont know who .made the lift what would cause this to break

If you can post a photo of the bracket with a closeup of the failure We might be able to give you some good ideas on the cause.
Poor quality materials and bad design are the usual suspects.

That is one nasty crack. I would go over the whole front end to make sure something else did not go with that.
Also If you like that lift I would plan on spending some $ on one of the good makers and replace it all. It may be
a case of cheep steel from China and you don't want any shocking things to pop up.

That's not a crack it broke in half right there today I replaced the bushings and ball joint on the track bar looks like it did damage to the outer tie rod ends that's next just wondering if anyone has had death wobble from a bushing being bad lime that
