Does anyone know exactly what is included in this? My understanding was that there was a camera included for the trailer that you installed yourself. (or had it done). I want a camera inside my trailer to watch my motorcycle. It fell over once and caused alot of damage because I didnt see it till a few hundred bumpy miles. Was this an additional option on top of the 2k camera package?

There are two items.
The "653 - Individual Trailer TPMS/Customer-Placed Trailer Camera" (~$725) allows you to watch the remote camera on the vehicles dashboard screen. You cannot watch it while driving. It is an extra $725.
You can go with an after-market camera, and watch it live, but it would be an extra screen - and may be illegal to watch while driving.
The "874 - Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System (96P)" is the multiple cameras around the truck to use when backing up and driving slow. I got it as part of the ultimate package. There may be other features of it as well.
The above is correct but just wanted to help clarify that to have an ADDITIONAL camera you attach you'll need the the trailer TPMS package which is separate from the tow package.

You can actually get just the individual camera without the TPMS package btw. It should also be an option when you build.
you can get just the camera with out the tpms. If I rember mine was a $379 option for the trailer camera.
Just to clarify, any chance for the ‘18 is there a camera that works with the Sync 3 screen where you can see the back of an attached trailer while you are driving, not just when you are backing up?

If this is your primary goal for an additional camera, go with a 3rd party solution since it can not be done with anything Ford is offering. You can not watch any Ford camera while the truck is in forward motion beyond about 5 mph. One simple solution you could look at doing is something like a GoPro streaming wireless to a phone/tablet in the cab.

Thanks. I have a 7" garmin rv gps now that has a seperate camera .I have it on back of my travel trailer. Maybe I'll have to make use of it. maybe mount the camera inside the trailer and use the garmin as a camera monitor. Maybe I'll order the ford camera for the back of the trailer to use while I back up. I need that as I mostly travel alone and dont have anyone to back me up. thanks for the answers!

I would go with the Garmin solution you currently have, I too travel alone 99% of the time and I ended up going with one of the crappy Furrion observation camera's for the back of my 5th wheel, only because it was prewired for it, took 5 minutes to install and required zero problems, wireless to a separate monitor from the back of the 39' trailer. Going with the observation instead of the "backup camera" means it can be monitored while driving instead of just when in reverse, nice to see those cars tucked in too close behind you. It is slightly helpful when backing into a spot, only in that I can tell there is a tree or ditch or pole - but the resolution is not great...
One of the selling points of this truck for me was the ultimate tow camera system, and while I am happy I have all these cameras scattered around the truck - they are so badly integrated and with such a bad user interface and user experience, that I end up not really using them for anything other than the 360° camera and the normal reverse/backup camera.
