Hello all, I am still having difficulty locating the Knock Sensor on a 5.0 Ltr 1988 F150. After being advised that it is on the upper inlet manifold, I had a good look around. But was only able to find what looked like a vacuum port with many vacuum hoses coming from it. Nothing like what I would expect a knock sensor to look like.

Is it possible to retrofit a knock sensor into an older style block?
The reason I ask, is that I am rebuilding a motor for my truck and the block is from an '84 Lincoln.
