Has anyone used the Brite Box headlight device (keeps low beams on when high beams are turned on) together with Beamtech LED headlight bulbs?
I have both installed, but the low beams do not stay on when the high beams are turned on.
When running regular halogen headlight bulbs the bright box worked perfectly.
BTW, The Beamtech LED headlights are great! A major improvement over any halogen bulbs I’ve ever tried.
Weird that it works with the Halogen but not the LED. I have not use the Bright Box. Have you checked the plug with your meter just to make sure both the circuits are getting power?
^^^Polarity or possibly not enough amperage draw to close a relay? Same thing happens with our 914s when we go to LED: the foglights won't relay on, you have to power on the foglight relay which is normally controlled by the headlights' draw.

Could it be a polarity thing with the LEDs?
Sorry for being naïve, but what “plug“ should I check with a meter to make sure both circuits are getting power?
FYI, The LED low beams and brights both work, just not at the same time. The low beam pattern is excellent, but the high beam pattern is so far in front of the truck that you really need the low beams on at the same time as the brights to make it worthwhile.

The plug going to the bulb. I haven’t looked specifically at the Excursion plug too closely, but usually there is power wire for low beams and one for the high beams, then a ground. I would check to see if the low beam circuit is energized. If it isn’t then trace it back from there.
