Good evening folks so i have a 2011 f350 and have a indash radio from kenwood that has bluetooth capable for listening to pandora i also have a ezylink tuner that is ran off my phone using a app i cant seem to run both at the same time was wondering if its possible??? They are both hooked up to my obd2 port off a splitter if that helps
Not uncommon when running two "apps" or an OBDII splitter for one app or both to freeze when switching between them. I ran into this problem when using TorqPro on my phone with the MX OBDII bluetooth interface and the Edge CTS/CTS2. When I would switch to the TorgPro, the CTS would stop updating. After clsoing the TorqPro app and I could go into the menu on the CTS, it would up date again or the next key turn it would update.
If you have the EZ LYNK 2.0, connect it to your phone via WiFi instead of Bluetooth. If 1.0, it's WiFi only so Bluetooth is irrelevant. If Pandora (Bluetooth) is configured to run in the background, it should work with AutoAgent on the foreground since one is Bluetooth and the other is WiFi.
The EZ LYNK when using WiFi behaves similarly to your home WiFi router (issues an IP address to your phone via DHCP running on the EZ LYNK).
You have to be careful with WiFi though because if you are making a calibration change, you'll want to delete any trusted WiFi zones such as your home otherwise it tends to drop the EZ LYNK and reconnect to your home WiFi, which is not good when uploading firmware. It's better to just have a dedicated device.
