Speed Density to MAF Conversion
Hello everyone,
I know there are many posts on here about the conversion, but I do not want to spend money on things that I will not use.
I have an 87 f150 (302 with C6 trans) and I am interested in doing the conversion as I will be doing many mods to the truck. I know I need the computer, the harness, obd2 sensor, air box and such. I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the computer I should be looking for and what cars they are found in?

MAF was the only way to build a tunable EFI system at one time but there is an easier option now with direct replacement tunable PCMs from Stinger Performance.
If you still want to do a MAF conversion you want a PCM and meter from a 5.0 Mustang, the Y pipe is available online, and the wiring was available in a kit at one point but it's also possible to DIY if you're so inclined.
