Make sure you measure each rotor for minimum thicknesses. They may look flat and true, but you would be surprised how a little uneven wear will ruin the new pads if you don’t check well. I know nobody does rotor turning anymore, but a nice true up really would improve their bit when bedding in the new pads. The problem with not replacing is as the metal is worn off, they are less heat resistant, can warp ect. Easier to just replace rotors and pads. Depending on the measurement, will you make it to the end of a second set of better pads? I have always done new higher quality rotors, more aggressive pads at the same time. Checked all e-brake hardware, ensure caliper pins are well lubricated. Once and done. On my 2005, I made it to 172,000 Km. On my 2000 I made it to 120,000 km.
I replace calipers, rotors and pads on my families vehicles. I don't want to look at them for awhile.
