Searching online for this now third CCV filter reveals nothing. Using the part # listed in the pic I get the two known versions. If I look at ford parts I don't come up with anything,

Looking at the owners manual does not address the servicing of this part.

Pretty sure I have the sealed CCV unit. My owner's manual says change it out at 100k miles. It seems to me that the CCV with the serviceable filter would be easier to replace than the entire CCV itself.

Its been a while since this thread started. My new MY22 F-450 has what looks like the pic posted by senix.

What's the story with these later designs? Anyone had one fail or opened one up? Are the newer filters less prone to clog and cause issues?
