Quick Question?

I just did a complete EGR delete on my 2011, I also have the DPF removed however the 5” exhaust is still being shipped .... I was wondering if it was safe to go ahead and tune the truck without having the 5” straight pipe on ... as it sits it’s just the down pipe waiting for the exhaust .... the EGR is deleted and the DPF is out ... can I go ahead and tune it and put the exhaust on whenever it gets here and I have time? this truck isn’t a daily driver btw it’s put away for the winter so I won’t be driving it without the exhaust ... also my EGR kit came with the manifold plate that is threaded for the EGT probe but the hole is too small for the probe, I seen some kits come with an fitting adaptor to get around this. Does anyone have a link for that fitting

I thought it was proper edicate to tune the truck with all the emissions systems in tact and see if it runs and produces any codes before removing any of the components. Did you not do that prior to removing parts?
