engine swap- replace injectors?
1988 f250 w/ 200,000+ -am swapping with reman long block- wondering whether i should replace injectors as a matter of course or can simply move old fuel rail and injectors to new engine- thanks

I just finished swapping from 300 to 351. I didn't replace the injectors in the 351, but I did clean, rebuild, and test them using the instructions in this thread.

The original EV1 injectors are nearly indestructible and have an almost unlimited lifespan, but they do get contaminated with dirt and varnish which reduces performance so an overhaul and bench cleaning is definitely recommended.
