Looking at a 2020 F250 4X4 S/C. XL DECOR PACKAGE 6.2 Ls V8 and a 3.73 ELECTRONIC-LOCKING AXLE. Two quick questions I have not been able to find out the answers.

I am familiar with ARB air lockers but not with ELECTRONIC-LOCKING AXLEs. Will the ELECTRONIC-LOCKING AXLE stay engaged when in four-wheel drive High, four-wheel drive Low and in reverse?

What do I look for to see if the factory solution to the “death wobble” has been installed on the truck?

2020 should have the revised steering stabilizer. The trucks with heavy service or snow plow front springs seem to be more prone to the shake (sit higher without caster adjustment).

The rear Elocker works till 25mph I believe. Its a true locker.

Page 220 of the manual.

• The electronic locking differential will
not engage if your vehicle speed is
above 20 mph (32 km/h) in 4x2, or 4x4
High modes.
• The electronic locking differential will
not engage if your vehicle speed is
above or 56 mph (90 km/h) in 4X4
Low.

Nothing to look at. There hasn’t been one. If Ford announces an “upgade”, then how many will they have to retro-fit? Everything since 2017? They aren’t going to do that unless Big Brother forces them.

In reality, the number of vehicles truly experiencing death wobble is very minor when you look at how many of these trucks are on the road.
On the locker, it is manually engaged with the 4x4 shift ****. You can be in 4x4 hi or low with or without the locker. It will disengage once you exceed the aforementioned speeds. I think someone found a way to adjust this in Forscan, IIRC.

Well, it seems that if I wanted a 4-door Lariat, King Ranch or Platinum with a regular bed I could have had my pick off the lot at several dealerships. But I wanted a XT Super Cab , 7.3 gas, 4-wheel drive with 4.30 ELocker gears. Had to order it with a 30-90 day wait for a 2022. So, at least it gives me plenty of time to take all the STUFF off my current truck. Count down started 03/22.

From what I deduce that is correct. Unless like poster stephen.osborne says the person who found a way to adjust this in Forscan, IIRC has the work abround.

If you're in 4wd low, it will up until 56 mph. Not sure what it would be like driving in 4wd low at 56mph+
