Hello. Looking to see if anyone has information or details about this type of rear liftgate spoiler? I’ve seen this in a picture from a person who sells Excursion Parts. he says that it is a factory oem item.? I’m trying to verify. I did see a post about rear spoiler but that one looked different than this one.

That is definitely NOT an OEM...
I actually don't think they were an avail option till 2002, maybe 2003 or later. Drilling the almost 1" diameter holes on the underside of the lift-gate caused you to drill through a thin layer of fiberglass, then steel reinforcement. Which I did with a unibit. I think, just like the available second row captains chairs, starting in 2002, Ford would've provided those large holes during production like they did in the floor pan for the captains chairs. I nervously had to make my own template to get mine installed.
