Rear Spoiler option..?

Hello. Looking to see if anyone has information or details about this type of rear liftgate spoiler? I’ve seen this in a picture from a person who sells Excursion Parts. he says that it is a factory oem item.? I’m trying to verify. I did see a post about rear spoiler but that one looked different than this one.

I’ll attach a pic. Thanks

That is definitely NOT an OEM...
I actually don't think they were an avail option till 2002, maybe 2003 or later. Drilling the almost 1" diameter holes on the underside of the lift-gate caused you to drill through a thin layer of fiberglass, then steel reinforcement. Which I did with a unibit. I think, just like the available second row captains chairs, starting in 2002, Ford would've provided those large holes during production like they did in the floor pan for the captains chairs. I nervously had to make my own template to get mine installed.

Prepping for install

After bodyshop paintjob, then install

You'll possibly find this one still for sale as either OE or aftermarket too.

Spotted this too,,,
