This is good stuff. I have a dual relay set up already (extra from race car fuel pump application) and understand how relays work so for me, thats covered. I actually have the parts on the bench right now.
I was looking for the vehicle side schematic. What color wires in the harness are for what.

almost faster to just test the headlight connectors with a meter to figure out +\-, factory wiring is tiny, like 22ga, I recommend at least 16ga but preferably 14ga. The amp draw isnt enough to justify 12ga unless it is all you have laying around.
I wouldn’t want to use 80/100w bulbs w/o a glass housing. Even just running 65 instead of 55 in my Subaru for years has burned my metal glare caps, thankfully not the housing or reflector. 80w is a lot of heat in a plastic housing

So from what Im gathering, you and others are saying I should increase the wire gauge from the relay to the connector as well?

This was a concern of mine as well, but 2 years so far no issues with heat. Many others in the super duty and 7.3 subforums have run the same set up for years without issues. My Eagle eye 02+ composite housings still look brand new and no signs of the harness melting. I definitely would not run these without an upgraded relay harness.
jayro88, what headlights are those? I'm looking to do the same upgrade - new lenses and LED bulbs. But I can only find new lenses with the side markers, not the headlight lenses only, like you were able to replace.

I got them off RockAuto. They are TYC20644000SETSet; Includes Bulbs and Sockets.
They sell them individually also.
Mine is a 2001, so I think the headlight setup may be a little different.
If I had seen this pic 2y ago, I never would have wasted money on chasing brighter headlights through other means. that's intense
i tried 02-04 TYC housings but the pattern was horrendous, then I was trying to figure out how to add driving lights to my '00 but never did, finally I just bit the bullet and just went with new OEM 05+ housings. very happy I did, and at the same time I added the relays. the results are fantastic
a true fog light would help compliment the close in edges for inclimate weather, but it doesn't get driven enough in those conditions to justify it. I have to say in low fog (<1/4mi ) or snow it is pretty dang good because the lights are just yellow enough to cut through and actually illuminate what I need to see when driving. I actually like the lights on this beast the best out of my entire fleet, but my truck is a close 2nd (2000 Ex, 2012 Subaru Impreza, 2017 Chevy 3500HD, 2019 VW Atlas)
