One thing to remember about toy haulers also, when empty all that space behind the axles is just that............space! So the extra length isn’t always adding weight, unless loaded. And, as one loads that *space* with *stuff* you are actually removing weight from the pin. Simple leverage.
yep. Mine is actually really light by th standards
Don’t really understand the inquisitiveness. I have a trailer. I had a truck that I liked. I have a new truck that I like too. Was just showing some pictures. Im

Weird.
Not sure what is strange about inquiring what the weight of the rig is. It's a pretty common thing to wonder. Then, factor in that you "upgraded" to DRW, and that your prior TV had a suspension issue, it makes the inquisitiveness that much more logical.
Glad you like the trucks and 5er. It's what matters.

Well, don’t go away. We really like your rig.
The issue you had with your previous tow rig is kind of a puzzle though. Leaves a lot of room for speculation.
I have broken axle joints like that, but I didn’t have to wonder how it happened when it did!! LOL
Of course not. I can't assume anything. I wonder what you weigh loaded.
Not sure why the concept is so hard.
did post 10 not fill it in enough for you? When you keep asking the same question that I already answered it makes it seem like you believe im
lying or something

I agree except that I already stated what the length and weight is
I'm in the same boat OP. Not as bad overloaded but still overloaded. Working on getting it traded in for a 450 to resolve my payload issues. Truck pulls it like a champ and is super stable. I see a much larger toy hauler in the future so I'm trying to future proof the TV for my future trailer needs.
My rig dry weight is around 14k and advertised pin weight is 2090. Real pin weight has averaged 3k+. Trailer close to 17k.

There are a number of people on this forum (and others) that are completely obsessed with weight. If you post a picture of a F250 towing anything bigger than a teardrop, they will relentlessly attempt to steer the conversation into a discussion about payload like it's the only thing that matters. If you want to engage, do it. If not, ignore them. I assume that most are well intentioned. Others just think they're way smarter than you. Welcome to the internet.
Your F250 was very likely over it's stickered limits, but if set up properly, quite capable of towing your trailer. Your new truck is a better fit. Congratulations! Hopefully you enjoy many trouble free miles.

^^^^^^^ For sure. I generally don’t post that my SRW was an ‘11 F250, which the only difference between that and the ‘11 350 was the door sticker, the badge, and one rear leaf less; but mine did have the overload springs, and I installed airbags to help level it out. But with an 18K GVW triple axle trailer I was quickly in the market for a dually. Also, the 6.2 in the Rocky Mountain states got a workout. The last diesel I had owned was a 1983 GMC and had no idea how far the pickup diesels had come in regards to power, so was looking for a F350 dually with the 6.2 gasser. Only way I was going to find one of them was to order one. I found some diesel duallies, traded for one, and the first pull was WOW!
This thing pulls better than some of the old semi’s I had driven in the past...........I was 100% sold!

I'm gas truck man myself but have the 6.7 in the dually and it really is a stress free pleasure to pull the Cameo in the mountains wether going up or down grades. But can't wait to get the 7.3 for my daily driver. For what little money it is to go from 6.2 to 7.3 especially if towing is a nice power upgrade.
Thanks guys. Wasn’t really looking to start a debate or get questioned. I absolutely loved my 250. Pulled the big trailer often in some fairly steep grades (Smokies) and it never missed a beat. That photo was taken when I bought the trailer. I felt it sagged too much so I put Hellwig 3500lb helpers on. It fixed the sag.
im 100% honestly unsure when or how my front I joint, axle, diff broke. It was going to be taken care of under warranty and I probably would’ve kept the truck if I didn’t have a camping trip planned for the weekend (found the u joint on a Tuesday) so what the hell....lariat ultimate dually it was!!!
I LOVE the 10 speed vs the 6. LOVE the dual zone AC (wife), love the integrated 5th wheel pucks, LOVE star white. The only think I question now is the brakes. I feel my 250 had ALOT better braking. I’m assuming it’s just because the same brakes but a heavier truck...hmm maybe I should’ve spent the extra $10k on the star white platinum 450?
