VERY NICE! So glad you aren't gonna wreck it with shiny paint and chrome. I'll forgive you for washing it, well, maybe. That is an amazing find congratulations. Right off a movie set!

In 1966 at the I know everything age of 15 I bought a '31 Model A for $95.00. The front axle assembly was included but in pieces. With nothing more than a JC Whitney catalogue, a book on restoring a Model A and my experience building early Ford model cars I assembled the front end. All in all a simple and straight forward process. I proceeded to pull the body and clean the frame and brush paint it with Rustoleum black paint. I got the body back on the frame and in running condition but by no means a driver. After I got my license I succumbed to the motor cycle urge and sold the coupe for $300.00. As many of have said, wish I still had it. Love your p/u. Enjoy.
In '66 my dad moved us from Seattle to Boston for work. I was only 13, but a few years later I bought a 28AA, well, I traded it for a flat bottom skiff I built. With a bronze worm gear rear axle it did 26 mph on the flat, pedal to the metal. Then my GF went to college in Vermont so I bought a BSA 441 victor special, which cut many hours off my trip North. Then it was winter..... Found a new girlfriend.
