1967 N600 VIN Decode
Hello. New to the forum and couldn't find one specific to N600's so please point me in the right direction if I'm not welcome here.
In the meantime could someone decode the following VIN for me?
VIN = N61EUA58071
Color = J
Model = 612
Body = E81
Trans = L
Axel = G2L
DSO = 53

This is probably better off in the 61-66 forum or better in the large truck forum.
per my '67 service manual
N= 89" BBC Conventional 2 axle gas
61= gvw (19,700 to 24,000 more later..)
E= engine 361 c.i. 2V
U= Louisville assembly plant
A58071= consecutive unit number December 1966 assembly
J= color Red
612=23,000 GVW nominal 2.5 ton
E= red woven plastic and red crushed vinyl trim
81=conventional cab
L= Clark 2653V direct 5th 5 speed transmission
G=12,000 lb front axle
2L= Eaton Model 30DTA 4.88/6.77 ratio 32,000 lb
53= Kansas City district sales office
