Just finished installing my drivers door with a total rebuild all new internal parts and New Tinted windows Lots of work. The Altman door latch works great but the instructions suck. They would be better off not including instructions at all they just leave you hanging. If you’re not a good problem solver Do not attempt this project😁.

Starting to look like a truck next step is ordering all the steel for the ramp bed😁
Next on my list is the passenger door hope it goes as easy keep on trucking.

 

Did you buy the Altman latch kit from Trique Mfg? This is the first report that I have heard about poor instructions.

 

Yes that’s the company that I bought it from I even viewed the video on two guys garage on YouTube and they just showed the easy stuff.The little details are the things that get you.😁

 

The instructions I received from trique manufacturing were great but my latches were for a 51 f1 without outside door handles.

Don't know about other latches.
