Have an 03 f350 4x4. On the lower dash by your right knee is a push button switch with “P” in Center , push once lite on P comes on, push again and lite is off.
can’t find it anywhere in Ford service manual—what is it for?
Don’t believe I have those sensors. Thought maybe it was the lite on back of cab, to lite up box, but either bulb burnt or it’s not that.
I will score the ford service manual again, and see where I missed it.
Yes, exactly!! Thank you. Odd how one can put 400m km on a vehicle and not know what switch is for!! 😂😂
now I will check service manual to see what it’s supposed to do, because I have never felt any difference in steering, brakes, or anything else parking, driving or any other condition, with switch on or off, but will watch closer now.
thank you- alxsnmp for your help!!
have a very good Christmas to all, from us here in the far North ( Canada) 😇😇😂😂

It won’t feel different, but when they are “ON” when you get close to an object while backing, there should be a beep beep beep. When “OFF” there should be no beep beep beep.
