The dealerships have a Iot people buying I guess, tried to order at 2 different dealerships in Phoenix area 1,000-2,000 over invoice to me that's crazy on an ordered truck. I'm in a holding pattern till after the holidays and try a different place sometime in January or February. Worse case scenario I'll just keep driving the 2012 a little longer. $$ aren't burning a hole in the pocket that bad to have a shiny new truck...yet.

I skipped all that mess and went straight to Texas. Ordered and came in better than x plan. Why bother with these AZ banana boat fools?
I got my 21 f350 with 2500$ pco and x plan pricing with mustang club. Just called ford marketing and asked for a pco.
Thats really strange, in my experience and that of many others you can't simply ask for and recieve a PCO from Ford marketing. Ford marketing, the people that you call, have no control over that. They are a call center who can take and input your info as well as look into whether or not you currently have an offer in your name. It was more likely that you had an offer in your name that you were unaware of until you called.
OP, at this time with inventory shortages etc., and more and more dealers being less willing to negotiate, X-plan might be a worthwhile option. Shoot, even Ford factory incentives are almost non existent. $250 last I looked and no credit rebates. Tough time to be a buyer and save much. Costco pricing is sometimes well bellow invoice. You can check with Costco to see what dealers are participating or just ask the dealer if they have Costco pricing on the 2021 SD's.
trying to figure out how to get pco or eco $, sounds like im hoping a pop up will show up while searching various sites. is it less likely to get something based on region

There are threads on the site with every bit of info you might need on the subject. Also, the name of the offer is insignificant, PCO, ECO, ECR are all essentially the same. Call it what you want, internally they are called direct offers. PCO is understood across the forums.
thx, i've been trying several of the suggested ways, no luck yet
I have been trying also. I haven’t heard of anyone getting one for a while other than finding out they already had one. I hope after Jan 4 when the latest ones expire there will be a new round going out.
I bought my '19 F250 last February, paid $47k. Went to get oil change at the dealer today and walked over to look at the SD section on the lot. They had a 2021 F250 exactly like mine but blue. Sticker price $58k. It was the exact same truck as mine but 2 years newer and blue, that's it. My sales guy says that since Ford divoted so much time and money making ventilators and hospital PPE, they slowed down production of some vehicles. This caused a smaller supply for the same demand for trucks. I guess if you have something somebody wants, you can ask any price and they will pay.
What really blew my mind was a '21 F250 Lariat with a 7.3L with a sticker price of $68k. Right next to it was a '20 F250 XLT with 6.7L for $62k. Prices are going way up real fast.

I just bought yesterday a 2021 F250 King Ranch fully loaded stickered around 85,500 and got 3,000 off which I felt was a great deal at the moment! I’m on the East coast.

Your $47k was after discounts and negotiations I assume. I would love to see the window stickers on these trucks you are comparing. The MSRP pricing has gone up some since 19 model year, but not anything crazy. The increase was before Covid and came with the new engines and trans. Where pricing has changed since Covid is not so much on the sticker but rather in the lack of discounts and how little dealers are willing to come off of sticker. That is a side affect of Covid and supply and demand.
Or are you saying that dealer is marking up the Super Duty's above MSRP?

I'm not sure what part of my post that is in response too but awesome, all that matters is that you feel good about the deal. Its not a buyers market, so things like X-plan can be helpful. Using your purchase as an example X-plan would have got you to around $5k off MSRP.
