Couple Questions
Hey Guys,
Im working on a 2000 7.3 I restored for a customer, some of you followed along. Im working on some punch list items and I have a couple questions:
I know some of you guys used a 6.0 or 6.4 starter to spin the beast over faster which one is best or is there a better alternative?
Is there someone that makes a plug and play fog light add on kit using OEM stuff, I thought I saw it somewhere and now I'm drawing a blank.

Denso starter if the customer is willing to pay for what they get. I installed one a while back and it is a great starter. I used longer mounting bolts (40mm) when installing the starter in order to maintain a secure fit since the Denso has a much larger mounting surface.

I also created a video shortly after installing the Denso of how fast it cranks the engine, it is below.
As you may see in the thread linked above, Mitsubishi also offers a nice starter. My application was best suited for a Denso, but perhaps your customer does not fit the same application.
