Yes, but when i search for 2c286 then i get all kinds of parts. What i need is just the computer or control module
The HCU ( hydraulic control unit ) is what you are looking for if you have determined the wiring to and from it is good. The computer is a separate part. I tried looking it up on RockAuto and Cardone’s websites and neither one had a HCU for 4 wheel ABS.

you're kidding... that does not look like something that's easy to replace

I’m not sure what you mean. What does how easy or difficult a repair is have to do with part availability? You could try sending a PM to NumberDummy to see if a dealer still has one on the shelf if you cannot find one from a parts store.

the control module would be an easy fix i think? This ECU looks like brake lines need to be bled and all that stuff

Yes. Replacing the HCU will require bleeding the brakes since you are opening up the hydraulic system. I don’t think you need any special tools. I replaced the 4 wheel ABS HCU on my ‘94 Bronco and I didn’t need anything. Standard bleeding procedures.
So i have the following error codes
C1198 OPEN/SHORT LF DUMP VALVE SOL
C1214 OPEN/SHORT RF INLET VALVE SOL
C1206 REAR INLET VALVE CKT FAILURE
When i check the internet for the meaning, it seems that all 3 can be related to a loss of signal due to a possible wiring issue. That would be great, because i also have the problem that the speedo jumps around at high speeds (maybe bad signal?) , and i have a gearbox that sometimes wants to engage when the van is stopped (i read that the gearbox is controlled by a computer that reads the van's speed, so maybe this is a gearbox computer not knowing if the van is moving or not?).
Does anyone have a wiring diagram to this ABS system? maybe there is a spot where all 3 wires or signals come together, or maybe i just need to clean a connector?
Im having an issue finding the Orange/Black Data Link Wire..
