Very nice install.... I need to do that.... When it stops snowing....
Thank you, it took more time than I planned, but took my time to route cable and place everything so it was clean and out of site. I used the heat activated soldering connections and then used heat shrink over that. They worked pretty good... you have to get your heat right or you’ll burn right through them, but about 600f worked perfect!
it would be nice if the darn aux box could pull up out of the way so you can actually work on connecting wires. You can pull up and back, but had to have my son hold up and away while I completed the connection... out side the the passenger side frame has plenty of space and locations to secure cable.
I ran the Zroadz LED kit with mounting brackets I used the Magnum Racks wire harness that simply plugs into the factory harness at the rear frame. A very easy and clean install. I also put in a relay and ran a single wire to the engine bay into an upfitter switch. That way the added lights come on automatically when you put in reverse... and also anytime your hit the upfitter (like parked, booking up the trailer in the dark).
