I just wanted to show off my new auxiliary reverse lights. $20 on Amazon. P.O. had already had some there, brackets were still on the bumper and the wires were hanging under the truck from the factory reverse lamps!

Looks good, I was wiring new LED tail lights on my rig this week and used this in place of the cardboard that you were sitting on, It saves the back and is pretty comfy. It is an old kitchen chair with the legs cut off. You can sit on soggy ground with our getting your shorts in a bind!
I did the under-bumper route too. You can see mine just peaking out. I mounted them to the vertical side of the receiver hitch mount. That works well for flood light beams, but I ended up with a trapezoidal beam instead. That needs to be mounted to a horezontal surface. So once I get a round toit I'm going to make some simple brackets to attach to the receiver mount that the lights can hang from (the light will be in the same place, but rotated on its axis 90 degrees).

That's not cardboard, thats gen-u-ine 1/4" plywood!

I was gifted a short stool to sit on but if I have to lay down I've become fond of plywood actually, it allows me to slide around a little more than that chair would. Besides, I'm twice the size of that chair anyway! Lol

Nice looking family member you got there! I hadn't even thought about mounting them under the bed. I did that on my Chevy and they lasted until I was plowing and accidentally backed into a snow bank! Besides, the PO already had the holes where I put my lights. I might mount them under once I finally buy a hitch for it, it's on the long list of things to do!
Funny you should word "a round toit" as you did. My grandmother actually has one! It's a little round pin that just says "Toit" I thought that was pretty neat haha.

I had them there on my '95 F-150 for 9 years, and on my Bronco for about 10. I've never had any trouble with them on the trucks, and they survived about 4 family 'wheeling trips on the Bronco before one got smacked. But I used cheap lights so it wasn't a big deal.

A friend of mine had a round plaque with "TOIT" at his desk. He'd offer it to people when he thought something wasn't getting done fast enough.
I mounted a 10 watt LED light on a bracket I made that is mounted on the front edge of the bed, mounted in the center as I have a cross bed tool box that opens on each end and is hinged in the center it works perfectly as a bed light also. I also have high wattage LED reverse lights in place of the stock reverse lamps.
