NERF Bar/Steps

All right, back for more guidance/ideas/inspiration! I have an '05 Eddie Bauer, lifted pretty high and need to put on a step. Not really feeling the power steps. I have seen the Iron Cross HD, but not on an Excursion. I'd like to get something that looks good, preferabbly matte Black, and is going to drop at least 6" form the current entry point. End game is either a matte black or drab green overall paint sheme so I am not too hung up on the current paint. I'd love to see some pics of what y'all used and why you liked it. Just as important, some products/companies that were used and were not happy with! As always, any help is appreciated.

I used a set of these ...
APS Drop Steps Running Boards. APS Drop Steps Running Boards.
They get lots of complements, and work great.
I'll take a picture tomorrow if it's not raining

Nice! I have been looking at these, but yours look like they drop down just a little lower. How much lower did that get the entry for you?

The step is 4" deep from the top rail, but from interior floorboard to step is about a 11" or 12" difference.

Depending on the amount of rust maybe a little plate steel to pinch whats left, and drill new holes. The steps are extruded aluminum with steel brackets.
