Transmission Questions
Ok so i just bought a 1965 f100 240 with a 3 speed Auto
so when i drive the truck it perfect when i make a complete stop the truck wants to keep pushing forward even with brakes on so i need to put in neutral.
VIN 627167
thinking maybe something like the torque converter.
or adjustment ?

Is this your first old vehicle?? Things are different, not all modern ideas translate well.
First, tune the engine and set the idle at 500 rpm, where Ford designed it to be.
Second, pull all the drums and make damn sure none of the linings are contaminated, and that all the wheel cylinders are dry and not leaking.
Then adjust them properly, per the service manual.
That should do it.
