Reproduction tailgates?

I need a tailgate for my 89 F250 and have been striking out at junk yards. Anything that's there is totally hammered.

Has anybody tried the reproduction tailgates available from Dennis Carpenter or eBay? For $99 I'm tempted to give it a try. Interested in feedback from anyone who has tried them.

I got the one from LMC truck. Much lighter steel. First time I put the tailgate down and stepped on the back side it bent. I bet the ones you posted are the same.
