Three things I can think of.
1. Did you bleed the air out by turning over the engine without starting for 15 sec, wait a bit, then 15 sec more? Even with that it may take a bit of time for the air to work out. Make double sure you charge your batteries first. You don't want to fry your FICM.
2. Which oil pressure is low, engine oil or high pressure oil? You'll need torque pro or some other device to know about high pressure oil. Engine oil should have a gauge on the dash.
3. Any time you replace injectors there's the chance a standpipe/dummy plug o ring has failed, or the nipple seals failed. I've had that happen twice when working on injectors the past few years. I did an air test each time to detect the leak.
Good Luck.
doesnt engine oil pressure fill up the filter? I assumed he meant no low pressure.
Yep, engine oil fills up the filter. I just wasn't sure if he was talking about low or high. Reading it again, I think you're right, he's talking about low.
If the gauge isn't showing pressure, could just be the sensor. I'd try that first before digging into the engine.
Might have messed up the oil filter standpipe(?) pulling the turbo out. I've done that. If it was me, because it's me, I'd go back to the oil cooler cover. It started last time, and that's all he's messed with.

Hmmm... he did say he changed out #1 injector so had to take the oil rail, standpipe and dummy plug out, right? I damaged a standpipe o ring once going back in (at least I'm blaming it on myself) and it lasted 50 miles and died.

We'll be able to eliminate that if he confirms no oil in the filter housing or if he'll get the data, the IPR%.

don't forget to pull ficm relay if your cranking for oil leaks or flow , it could harm your ficm and have your battery charger on if your cranking for a long time
