Retarded question, and I think it’s been answered before but I just can’t find it, how in the ever loving world do I change these V-Belts, the one that runs from the alternator to the fan just basically disintegrated
Remove the first two to get to the alternator belt.
The AC bracket has several bolts you have to loosen to get it to pivot. It has a square in it for a 1/2" breakover bar as well as the power steering bracket.
The vacuum pump has a 3/8" square
I use a long prybar to tension the alternator. Loosen the pivot bolts on your accessories as well

How do I remove that belt , and then put another on, maybe I’m retarded but I’m confused as ****
Okay, on the AC bracket, there's like three or so bolts you have to loosen and one or two on the back side. Then the whole bracket will pivot to loosen or tighten the belt.
On the power steering you have an upper bolt that's the pivot, and a lower belt almost hidden by the pulley (passenger side of pulley) that is the tension bolt. Iirc its a 5/8", once loosened it also pivots.
