trying to change alternator how do i remove fan shroud

I am trying to change the alternator in a 2005 ford RANGER but i cant get the fan shroud out. any one know how to do this? Please help

generally to get the shroud ou requires removal of the fan! I dont know about the 05s but my 94 does not require removal as the alter sits on top. You just need to get a tool on the idler pully to relax the tension on the belt.
