Up is down and down is up....

The power window on my drivers side is reversed.

The switch to control it work backwards. It is the same weather I use the switch at the drivers side or the passenger.

I am assuming that the wires are reversed at the power window motor.

I just wanted to check here before I tear into the door.

Is that a pretty safe bet?

You mean the power window on the PASSENGER'S side? Because you can't work the driver's side window for the passenger's side.

But yes, if the passenger window goes the wrong way from both switches the wires must be reversed at the motor. (Or I suppose you could have the battery hooked up backward, but you'd have other problems if that was the case )

And for that matter, if it was the driver's side it's still most likely to be the leads at the motor as well.

Yeah, it's the passenger side. I have no idea why I put drivers side.....

Thanks for the clarification thought. LOL
