So I checked the twin I beam mounts no play, checked the shocks still good and the springs, have not done anything to the powersteering so what could be left that would make my truck wobble, it's in alignment because I do that every year because I tow with the truck and work with it, 87 f250 standard cab 2wd 8ft service bed
Please describe the wobble in more detail. When does it happen? All the time? When you hit a bump? How long does it last?
You have it aligned annually? Did it start after last alignment?
This wobble happened on my 600 mile round trip just two weeks ago, on the way back, it feels from the front and it's an up and down motion not side to side like my 83 witch needs king pin bushings, this is up an down and gets worse the faster I drive, I'm currently going to have all 4 tires re balanced to see but it's awful and starts to happen around 17 mph and occasionally stops but comes right back

tire balance is a good place to start.. most vibration like issues end up being tire related, there's a lot of mass there spinning at high speeds. after that if the issue is still there have the front end checked out to see if there's play in any steering/suspension items.

I'm running goodyear wrangler 235 80 16 and as duals on the rear
I'll be getting it checked out and then if that doesn't fix it what's the most common to least common to fail it's a 2wd setup
may also want to check your wheel bearing adjustment, being a 2wd, the front wheel bearings need regular adjustment or they can cause losses steering and amplify or in some cases be the cause of vibration.. the wheels are bolted to the wheel hubs which contain the bearings, therefore free play in the bearings transfers to wheel and tires.

It's the transmission, I took the truck up to 45mph in 2nd at around 3500 and in 3rd gear (1:1) she starts wobbling hard, but I shift back to 2nd at about 3500 and wobble is gone and if I go past 3500 to about 52 still no wobble, any idea on what in the t18 manual would cause this, I'm gonna see if I can find a sbf zf5 first if not then I'll rebuild the granny trans
interesting.. does that truck have a two piece drive shaft or one piece? either way also check those u joints and the center support bearing if it's a two piece
