OP, why not a 450 C&C, sounds like your a commercial hauler.
Ahh, I thought the 7.3 gas could be had in pickup flavor. Looks like CC is the only option for 450 with gas.

I wouldn’t worry about the turning radius of a single cab. They’re little and very maneuverable.

We have a SC 550 with a 11ft flatbed, that things turns on a dime.

With my CC 550 and my 45ft GN, I'm as long as a semi, it's night and day vs a pickup truck.

I think he will need to look into CDL because of his trailer so he might as well get the 450..
