Forscan mod didn't work to keep power ports on
I changed the configuration in the BCM with forscan to keep the power ports in my truck on longer. I tried both the 4 hour and never off configurations but it didn't work. I would like to keep power to these ports on all the time to charge different devices when the vehicle is off. What are my options here?

the ones in the spread sheet. BCM as built change 1 to 0 for always on or first 4 digits to 3870 to do 4 hours. Also tried to combine them as well. No change.

What are my options here? I don't think its reasonable to pay $189 to reflash my BCM. Is the power port in the back of the console on all the time or is there a way to make it do that? If so that could work.
Is there a way to use one or more of the upfitter switches to provide power to the power ports continuously? If so how? Is there a better way to do this without having a reflash?

I’d take a copy of the SSM into your service manager and talk very nicely to them and ask them to please reflash flor free since it’s a problem Ford identified as a problem when the trucks were delivered and subsequently fixed.
I think you’ll spend more than $190 of your own time wiring delay relays and upfitters into existing wiring. And if you do, they still wouldn’t be protected by the trucks BCM circuitry, which turns off the outlets if battery voltage drops below a threshold that would allow starting.

I only need one power point. The SSM says power points are timed with the exception of one on the rear of the center console. If that’s the case and that one stays on or I can make it stay on I’m good. Anyone know for sure? Does it default to always be on or do I need to change something with forscan to make it do that?
