Battery light
Having trouble figuring out why my battery light is stay on, I’ve check the batteries and both are good, I’ve also used a multimeter to check if alternator is charging. Key off batteries are 13.1. Key on engine off they are 12.8. Key on engine running they are 14.6. Engine had been running for about 30 minutes prior to checking the batteries and charging. Can’t figure out why light stays on any help would be greatly appreciated!! I’m new to owning a diesel also so any advice is welcomed. Thank you in advance!

The small wire on top back of the alternator should be checked for tightness and be cleaned. I finally cut my connector off and put another connector on and haven't had a problem for a few years but I saw the light on the other day and will have to check mine again.
