Summit ball and socket?

I was looking at these ball and socket connectors from Summit and wondered if anyone had used them, and what they thought about them, how they worked, problems? Thanks.

I wouldn't even bother, they leak. If you want leak free go with the OEM style. Yes they are more expensive but often worth it.

Agreed. Big fan of OEM style. They just plain work.

I used the ball and socket with bolts at the muffler end, made by walker, about $10 each piece, and they are seriously strong. The flange is nearly 1/2" thick! At some point I will have to pull the headers and replace the standard collector flanges with a ball and socket connection. What I like about the summit system is that it looks clean, simple. But after seeing the 1/2" plate of the Walker flanges, I understand that is there because of the force needed to form a tight seal. I don't see how the summit flanges could equal that.
