P-100 Clutch problem

My 66 P-100 has developed a strange (to me) problem with the clutch. A few times I have been setting at a Stop light or sign longer than usual with the clutch depressed, trans in 1st waiting to go or turn and the clutch will engage with the pedal depressed. Shut the engine off, put trans in N, start over and everything is fine. This is my first hydraulic clutch equipped vehicle so I'm guessing about how it works, but I'm thinking that the fluid is bypassing somewhere, since the master cylinder level hasn't moved. I haven't crawled under it yet to see how everything works. If anyone has a parts blowup showing the lines, linkage etc. or any advice to offer I would appreciate your help.

John

After thinking it through and realizing operates like a brake system I came to the same conclusion. I'm going to dig in to it when it stops raining. Thanks, John

Hi, my 1967 P400 has WL FE32761 master clutch cylinder, installed on the firewall directly to the pedal. It has a broken cap. According to the Cardon catalog FE32761 is for 1964-63 STUDEBAKER TRUCKS.
What master cylinder can be used instead if that one?
Thank you in advance for any help.
Going to open my project tread soon
