I concure this look like a cab swap on to an earlier frame. I would get the vin from the frame so you know exactly what you have..

If the engine and the front axle are original to the frame, they are from a '76. That's the only year with the open knuckle, disc brake front end and an FE, so most likely a 360 engine. It's definitely a highboy frame, and with '76-'77 having that front axle, '76 having an FE engine, and '77 having a 335-series engine, it should be easy to narrow it down; but as we see with this truck, things get swapped around over the years.
